Randomness...

I am moving.
I like the fall season best of all.
I do not like to talk on the phone.
I am in serious need of a workout!
I love the new fried turkey lunch meat from Butterball.

Another Milestone...

Last weekend in Maryville, LilBlue tested up and went from a permit to an intermediate license...today she drove herself to school...my how the times are a changin' in my world...I just hope we have prepared her well enough for what's really out there cause it sure ain't no cakewalk!

Clinging to the verse Proverbs 6:22 and knowing that we have put forth much effort in trying to give her a solid foundation.

"Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it."

Homecoming!

LilBlue and the boy went to homecoming this weekend. They went to Red Robin for dinner then off to the dance.

No Thursday Thoughts...

It's already Friday...

Thursday was just too busy as we left for our trip to Maryville to visit the college. We are now home and I am tired. It was a very nice campus, small and lil'blue liked it so that's what counts, now we move forward with finalizing the admissions application and start working on the the housing application form due in mid October.

Busy, Busy Busy

I feel like it's been forever and yet it really hasn't...but this thing called life is happening and I am consumed by it. I have been a DIYer lately at my house, painting, patching drywall, caulking, cleaning, sorting, purging, more painting, trips to the Goodwill, and Menard's. I have only begun to scratch the surface. Faucets must still be changed out, new carpet picked out and installed, more cleaning, sorting and Goodwill trips, packing and more painting. Yes, we are moving...where you say, good question? That is still the unknown, but the choices are known...just waiting to hear where. I have my druthers but will stay mute on that for now as really it won't matter much what I want. Anyway, I feel like a crazy woman with a huge mission and I am baby steppin' my way through it one tip toe at a time!

This move will be drasctically different in so many ways...we will need to sell our house and soon, MiB will go on to new locale without us, Lil'Blue and I will stay so she can graduate here in May. She will not join us at the new location, she will go to college...so many changes, so many prayers, so many challenges.

The verse I have clung to many times in the past is in my thoughts today...Philippians 4:11b

"... for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances."

WARNING...I'm whining

My leg hurts...I am trying not to whine but it does hurt. I am in the process of cleaning out the basement so I notice it a lot. I am taking a break to whine. It is still swollen and is very tender. Yesterday it didn't seem to hurt much so I went for a run but I felt it was more sore again this morning so don't think I will do that again for a day or two, maybe just walking for now. I am done whining so back to work!
